Sebastian Werner


Master Informatik


Sebastian Werner has been a research assistant in the "Information Systems Engineering" department since June 2017 after completing his master's degree in computer science at the Technical University of Berlin.

Sebastian was involved in the management of data and data streams in the field of Fog & Edge Computing as part of the DITAS project. In the project, he worked on practical security and monitoring solutions, among other things.

Sebastian's research focuses on the analysis and expansion of modern distributed systems, such as function-as-a-service solutions. In particular, Sebastian examines strategies for using the fully managed serverless solutions to process large amounts of data.
